Allan is a U.S. and Brazilian citizen and has a degree in Simultaneous Interpretation and Translation from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC), São Paulo, in addition to working as a translator and interpreter since 2011. Allan moved to Brazil in 2003, after having lived in Sparta, New Jersey for 12 years. His fluency in Portuguese and English is of a native speaker in both languages and, in 2011, Allan had the opportunity to live in Almere, Holland, where he took part in a Volunteer Interpretation Project to help Brazilian citizens communicate with the Dutch. Allan joined The Drake’s team in 2015.
